Hi!

I’m Kara Rice. I love helping nonprofits and small business make a big impact by creating thoughtful communications collateral.

After five years working as a graphic designer at a Twin Cities nonprofit, I decided to transition to freelance work while focusing on my family life. I work with clients to create their logo and branding suites, marketing materials like flyers and social media graphics, and nonprofit materials like annual reports and appeal letters. I approach design from a problem-solving perspective and enjoy creating work that is colorful and illustrative.

I hold an A.A.S. Graphic Design: Web and Interactive Media from Minneapolis Community and Technical College, and a B.A. Art and Sociology from University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
